We are a tech-enabled real estate company teaming up with owners & managers to help rent their apartments. We offer self-touring solutions via our block.a app to all renters, making it easier and more convenient to rent an apartment for both renters and owners alike. Our app works as a key and unlocks the apartment and amenities to enable touring. If you’re looking for an apartment, please click here to see our available apartments.
All apartments can be toured using the block.a app. Our app works as a virtual key and unlocks the building, apartment, and amenity doors. When you arrive at the building click on the “Building” button in the app in order to enter the building. Click on the “Apartment” button to enter the apartment and "Tour Amenity" to enter the amenities.
We ask all renters to verify their identity for security reasons, as each renter tours block.a powered communities on their own. ID verification includes providing us with basic information such as:
Email address
Phone number
Photo ID & selfie verification
ID verification can be completed directly on the block.a app and takes only a few minutes. We ask for your email address, phone number, photo ID (state/passport) and a selfie verification.
We currently do not charge any fees to tour block.a-powered apartments.
We have both No Fee and Fee apartments on our app. Please check the listing descriptions section for this information or feel free to reach out to our leasing team.
Our visiting hours for most apartments are 6am-9pm, daily. For agent-led touring, please refer to the listings in our app. Each agent-led apartment has a calendar with available dates and times.
Some of our apartments are No-Fee listings where we do not collect a broker’s fee.
You can sign up to tour an occupied apartment directly on the block.a app. Just tap “Schedule a Tour”.
Each occupied apartment has available touring hours set in our app. You can sign-up for a tour directly on the block.a app. These tours are usually guided by a leasing agent or existing resident.
New timeslots are constantly added to the app. Join the waitlist to be notified of the next available open houses.
This varies from community to community. Please refer to your local agent for specific requirements.
You can request an application directly on the app. Our leasing agent, Sharon, will email you all the essential information needed to get started on your application.
In the block.a app's "Profile" page you have a "Delete account" button.
Your account will be deleted, and your personal data will retained for 30 days and then destroyed.
